The wrapper is grown using a traditional Japanese method referred to as “cultivo tonto,” which requires that the bottom leaves from the tobacco plant are removed so that the upper leaves get the most nutrients. Thereby, creating a remarkably flavorful wrapper.\nOnce rolled, the cigars are aged for one year so that the flavors have time to mature.
